family pre-check process
Hello families of The Bridge Church!
We are excited to announce the ability to use Family Pre-Check Registration for Children’s Ministry through Church Center by Planning Center. This free application is offered on both Android or IOS and is the fastest way to get information about The Bridge Church, pre-check your family, browse and join groups, and register for events. Once you have this application, after installation, search for The Bridge Church and follow the prompts to finish registration.
The advantages of family pre-check that can be obtained thanks to the Church Center technology are many and involve both the church staff/volunteers and the congregation; let’s see what they are:
Reduction of queues at the check-in desks
One of the main advantages of pre-check is the reduction of queues at the check-in desks. It allows the church to speed up the process and allows precious time to be saved.
The congregation will simply use the application to check-in those attending Children’s Ministry by selecting their names and then scanning the QR code generated with the camera on the newly established iPad check-in station. Once this has been completed, the labels you are already familiar with will be printed as normal. From the point of view of the church, this translates into greater efficiency and availability of time to devote to the main activities of the church.
Extension of pre-check time
Thanks to the digitalization of processes, the congregation could check-in at any time starting Sunday at 7 AM. This is a very convenient feature, especially for those who may be running a bit behind. Furthermore, it allows the church staff/volunteers to know who is coming and further plan if additional crafts, take-home materials, or volunteers are needed.
Reduction of human errors
Sometimes errors could be encountered on the part of the church staff/volunteers at the time of check-in, such as inaccurate names, allergies, birthdates, and/or wrong classroom assignments, which may delay where you need to be. Although we try our best to verify the data is accurate, unfortunately, mistakes are made. However, by automating the pre-check process, most of these errors can be avoided. Simply log into your profile and then select any person in your household to update their information. This will ensure future pre-checks are as accurate and efficient as possible.
Increased safety for the congregation
Through the Church Center technology, greater security is guaranteed, minimizing the creation of gatherings and minimizing the physical interaction of the check-in hardware.

By default, children should have access to two locations; the defaulted main location (i.e., Nursery, Toddler, Pre-K/K or Kids’ Church) or “No Birthday / See Check-In Desk.” If your child does not have a birthdate on file, the only option will be “No Birthday / See Check-In Desk” since the system utilizes this information to determine the designated classroom. The pre-check process could still be finalized, but please update the information within the application or visit one of our friendly volunteers at the check-in desk to have the birthdate entered.
