Who We are

We are disciples of the risen and glorified Jesus Christ. Our desire is to develop a deeper relationship with Him and to be conformed to become like Him by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to impact the world for God’s kingdom by introducing those we meet to the Son of God, Jesus Christ. We see our local church in five pictures:

A circle of believers, a hospital, a family, a service center, and a sending center.

  • We are a circle of believers

all on equal footing before God because of Christ’s work on the cross. We are all a priesthood of believers as Peter described in 1 Peter 2:5. We are all growing into the maturity of the image of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. This leads to unity centered around Christ. Ephesians 4:13-16.

  • We are a teaching hospital

because the world is a broken place and we are a broken people. God has poured out his love on us through Christ Jesus and now we are being healed and restored into God’s image in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We desire the same for others. If you have been hurt by church in the past, or you are just suffering from the evil in our world, come heal with us as we drink from the living water of Jesus

Christ. You can be healed and restored! 2 Cor 3:18; 5:17-21.

  • We are a family

because we have been adopted by God into His family through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We are sons and daughters of the King of Kings, and brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus our Lord. We aren’t perfect, but we follow the one who is perfect. We desire to humble ourselves enough to allow the Holy Spirit to change us so that we love each other like family. If you haven’t known family love, or are just lonely, come join our family! Galatians 4:4-7; John 15:12,15,17.

  • We are a center for those who serve

We are called to serve those in our community and around the world with the same love Jesus showed us when he served his disciples, and took our punishment for our sins and died on the cross. We desire to serve because we follow the one who came to earth to serve. Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:25; John 13:3-16, Philippians 2:1-11.

  • We are a sending center

As Jesus said in John 20:21, “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” We are being sent into our neighborhoods and work places in union with Jesus Christ. We seek to bring the good news of Salvation in Jesus Christ to all those around us as well as to the ends of the earth.  Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8.
