Jeremiah 31:31-34 | God's Heart to be Known by His People

May you rejoice in our God whose heart is to be known by His people.

May His promises to us---
for a new identity as beloved sons and daughters,
for a restored heart that transforms us from within,
and for a profound intimacy that allows us
to know and be known by God with no separation between---
may these promises shape your life
and remind you that your hope is found in Christ alone.

May difficulties, trials, storms and stresses
all serve to build up your longing for the age beyond this one
when the marriage feast will put all earthly treasures to shame
and we will know God in ways we can’t fathom today.

May the eternal song of praise we’ll sing in the New Jerusalem
echo backwards into our daily worship today
as we thank God for the covenant that binds us
together with His people from past, present and future.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up His countenance to you and give you peace.
